If you ask me what my #1 travel trip is, I would definitely answer you: rent a bike to visit a city. It's so convenient and pleasant to explore a new city on two wheels!
Let’s begin by deconstructing two myths :
- You don’t need to be in top shape for cycling. It is rather the opposite! When visiting a city on foot, your legs will probably suffer by the end of the day. Think of bicycles as the easy way out... you will save your steps and you'll get to see more! Notice to lazy people: bikes are even for you.
- It is not more dangerous to bike in a megalopolis than in your own city. Yes, we must be cautious everywhere. But often, we imagine that we will be in danger on the roads of an unknown city, but fear not, it’s easy to find a way that suits you. And in the worst case, get off your bike to walk on the sidewalk and continue on a quieter street.
